THERAPEUTIC TUBULAR COMPRESSION BANDS CONTAINING CAMEL, ANGORA GOAT AND ALPACA WOOL

Therapeutic tubular compression bands containing camel, or alpaca, or angora goat and sheep wool (therapeutic bands, for short) have a massaging effect on human skin and, together with their warming effect, cause blood to flow to the painful spot, end the pain syndrome, and are used for preventive and curative purposes in general therapy of chronic and acute diseases of the small pelvis organs, lumbar part of the spine, and legs (arthritis and arthrosis), sprain of muscles and tendons, and the pain syndrome.

These therapeutic bands can be used in inpatient clinics, outpatient clinics, in the field, and at home.

Their warming and massaging effect is achieved by reaction between the articles woolen fibers (camel, or alpaca, or angora goat wool combined with sheep wool) and skin to which the therapeutic bands are applied. The bands improve blood circulation, warm the skin, and end the pain syndrome.

Therapeutic bands are manufactured by LEONARDA-SERVICE LLC, Russia.

These therapeutic bands are cone-shaped or tubular articles sewn (stitched) together and cannot be taken apart.

Therapeutic band varieties only differ in diameter to fit body parts of different circumferences.

Warming series

The general views of these bands are shown in Figs. 1 and 2 of Annex A hereto. Therapeutic tubular compressions bands for small pelvis organs (Belts) are to be manufactured in seven varieties of different size, from size 1 to size 7, and their characteristics are shown in Table 1.

Therapeutic bands have a massaging effect on skin, together with a warming effect that causes blood to flow to the painful spot and end the pain spasm, and are used as part of general therapy to prevent or treat chronic and acute diseases of small pelvis organs and legs (arthritis, arthrosis, and muscle and tendon sprains), and end the pain syndrome.

The warming and massaging effect of the therapeutic bands is achieved by a specific mixture of wool fibers (camel, or alpaca, or angora goat wool mixed with sheep wool) combined in such a way as to produce a maximum massaging and warming effect.

When different kinds of natural wool are mixed together they produce the effect of down fibers and intermediate fibers to eventually yield the maximum desired effect.

Addition of sheep wool to the yearn helps improve the properties of the band, making it softer.

Yarn containing camel, or alpaca, or angora goat wool is used to manufacture elastic knitted sheets that are made by sewing (stitching) into therapeutic bands having desired wear and therapeutic or disease prevention properties.
